Just as well

Making cookies is so much chaos fun

with versions 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1.

For cookie cutter placement you need a plan

Owen says, "You can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!"

"Seventeen, eighteen, nineteen... twenty!"

Zane, I think you've eaten plenty.

Now it's time to play

We left the frosting for another day.

Here are the boys waiting anxiously to start.

Decorating cookies with many small children is definitely an art.

Zane licked/ate everything in sight.

Kate made sure each one was "just right."

"It won't sprinkle anymore!"

No, my life is never a bore!

We frosted 6 dozen cookies for teacher plates!

That first batch left 6 dozen others for home that don't taste that great.

But the kids thought they tasted swell.

I didn't. But that's just as well.

A Dozen Days

The kids and I made some Christmas treats the other day. Here's the recipe.

Tackling Christmas cookies another day. They were great helpers.

Enjoy this little clip of life with my MSC (many small children).

Is it bad that I totally rely on my 6 year old when figuring out how old my infant is?

understatement

Eric: What did you do today?

Me: I made a little spaghetti

So I went a little crazy the other day and whipped up 8 pans of baked spaghetti and pasta bakes to freeze to give away and one for us for dinner that night.

I've never made that much food at one time in my life.

It wasn't too bad.

Dirtied the pots and pans only once, browned the meat all at once, boiled the pasta all at once, got out all the ingredients only one time.

It wasn't too bad.

I may try this again sometime.

Lunch Much?

Sandwich monsters the kids and I created.

A batch of freshly made baby food for Zaner while they ate their one-eyed monsters.
