Evie and I headed out to Solomon Farm Sunday evening with Kristin and A.

So much fun taking pics of our baby girls.

When Kate was 3 I had her picture taken in this same dress with the same red chair.

I had so much fun with our friends Ben and Wendy and their kids the other day, taking photos at Matea Park.

C and E were perfect.

PERFECT.

I've never done such an easy session with kids!

I had a lot of fun photographing this crazy group of Yoders during Swiss Days.

Poor Micah even got stung by a bee mid-shoot and recovered for 4 more poses!

Sometimes I don't think things through.

Like when my friend Jillian asks if I can take family photos for them... and I say, "Sure, how about at the Botanical Gardens since it's so cold outside?"

Then we proceed to schedule a time to meet.  (6:30pm on a Thursday).

Great plan, except the main reason you go to the BG is for the massive amounts of natural light indoors.

Brilliant girl that I am I don't connect the dots until I'm pulling out of my driveway on my way to meet them.

Oh, and we chose Thursday over Saturday thinking it would be less busy....

It was dollar admission day.  It was packed.

and very dark so as to accentuate the Christmas lights I suppose.

Nice.

Undeterred we forged on and ended up getting some pretty good shots in the end.  Flash and all.




Dave and Jill have the sweetest kids.  I had a fun time exploring with this great family!

Here they are as a family standing on the very spot where they got married.  How cool is that?!

This little guy is only 2 weeks old.  

Our friends from ABF asked if I could take newborn shots when I dropped off a meal for them last week.

Thanks, Andrew and Jessica, I had so much fun playing with baby Ezekiel!
