Earth Day
Kate has been learning a lot about
Earth Day
recycling
taking care of the planet
renew
reuse
recycle
etc.
The other day she told me
she found some
newspaper
in the front yard
and recycled it.
(She's quite the litter-picker-upper)
I told her that was great.
Did she put it in the recycling bin in the garage?
"No, I recycled it by
making it into
something else."
Okay.
I figured it was a small piece
of newspaper paper.
and that she
glued it to something.
I hoped
it was not too gross.
Then later
I find
this
in her bedroom...

Indeed, she did
"find some newspaper in the front yard"
—the whole newspaper.
What she made
it into
I'm not quite sure.
